AEGON encourages employees at all levels to take part in formal skills and development programs. Typically, training programs cover topics such as customer service, product knowledge, business writing, compliance and sales.
Last year, between 88% and 91% of AEGON employees worldwide took part in formal skills and capabilities programs.

AEGON operates a number of e-learning courses as part of employee training program. These include You & AEGON, which teaches new employees about the company and its businesses. Other courses focus on different areas, including the company’s Code of Conduct and upholding the core values.
