AEGON is one of the world’s largest life insurance and pension companies.

In 2008, AEGON marked its 25th anniversary. The company was formed in 1983 – the result of a merger between two Dutch insurance companies, AGO and Ennia. But AEGON’s roots date back much further, to the mid-19th century when the company’s predecessors provided burial funds for customers in the Netherlands.
