As an ambassador for the AEGON brand, Lang Lang is helping support the company’s growing businesses in China. Lang Lang has a 90% name recognition in his home country, which is helpful to AEGON-CNOOC, AEGON’s joint venture in China.
Lang Lang has emerged as a star of the classical music world, performing for an audience of billions during the Opening Ceremony at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. In 2009, he also performed at the ceremony awarding Barack Obama the Nobel Peace prize.
Since 2004, Lang Lang has been an international Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF, and has been actively involved in raising money and awareness for earthquake relief efforts in China.
