AEGON is investing at all levels of the sport, from grass roots to world-class events, in a five-year agreement with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), the governing body of tennis in the United Kingdom.

Community support
AEGON’s support is helping to get more people playing tennis through community programs such as AEGON Schools Tennis and AEGON Parks Tennis.
Since March 2009, over 11,000 schools have received AEGON Schools Tennis kits, each containing a net, tennis rackets, tennis balls and a unique interactive teaching DVD.
Backing emerging British talent
When a young player shows promise, AEGON helps to insure they get the support they need to reach their full potential. Over 350 players are on the AEGON FutureStars program, with the best moving up to join Team AEGON, the elite players heading for the world’s top 100. These LTA-run player programs offer specialist coaching and development.
Sponsoring national and international events

Three of the best-known events are the AEGON Championships at The Queen’s Club, London, the AEGON Classic at Birmingham and the AEGON International at Eastbourne. In 2011, Andy Murray won the AEGON Championships for the second time, the first British player to do so since 1925.
