AEGON has completed its transaction to secure EUR 3 billion in additional core capital from the Dutch State.
The terms and conditions of the transaction are identical to those indicated in the press release of October 28, 2008.
The additional resources significantly enhance AEGON’s capital buffer at a time of considerable economic and market uncertainty.
