Economic, social and environmental

Every year, AEGON publishes a range of economic, social and environmental indicators.  


Data contained in this section covers AEGON operations in the following countries: the United States, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Spain, Slovakia, Poland, India, Hungary, the Czech Republic, China, Canada and Romania.

All information in the following tables refers to 100% of AEGON's global workforce. Environmental statistics, however, have been extrapolated from data covering less than 100% of all employees (please see footnotes for further explanation).

Please note that figures in parentheses denote losses or negative amounts.

[2] Not including AEGON's Socially Responsible Investment fund in China, which at the end of 2009 had EUR 705 million in assets under management.
