IT Auditor
The Internal Audit department of AAM (GAAM) is an established global Internal Audit Function which and consists of audit professionals who are based in the NL, UK and US. The Chief Audit Executive who leads GAAM is located in the NL. As IT Auditor you will report to an IT Audit Manager and work with IT and operational audit colleagues across the globe.
Job Profile Summary
As IT Auditor you are responsible for delivering IT and Integrated audits across AAM on a global level as part of a team of audit professionals. You seek to contribute towards completing value-add audits with the right quality (complying to methodology and standards) and on time.
In addition, as IT Auditor you are also expected to:
Actively support managing of stakeholder relationships
Provide insights and challenge to stakeholders on risk & control matters
Continuously hone your competencies and skills through study, training and certifications as supported by GAAM.
Other responsibilities are:
Preparing of risk based control frameworks, audit work programs and evidence request lists
Obtaining sufficient understanding and evidence for assessing control design adequacy and operating effectiveness
Identification of control weaknesses, their risk impact and necessary remedial action(s)
Preparing of audit reports containing impactful executive messages
Supporting the IT Audit Manager with IT risk assessments and annual IT audit planning activities
Working together with the Operational Auditors on Integrated audits. As an expert on IT/cybersecurity matters
Supporting GAAM in the continuous development and improvement of standards/practices.
Required Qualifications
IT Auditor or equivalent work experience (2 -4 years)
Willingness to further develop audit competencies and skills
Analytical and critical mindset
Ability to effectively communicate with team members, the auditee and key stakeholders
Fluent in English. Proficient in writing business English.
Good sense of humor
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Registered EDP Auditor (RE) or relevant equivalents
Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, (IT) Auditing or relevant equivalents
Prior External Audit experience, preferably at Big-4
Knowledge of Internal Audit standards and/or experience in leading audits
Prior international, cross-cultural experience and working with remote teams
Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced and deadline driven environment
Working Conditions
Hybrid (2 days in the office)
Travel (10% - 15%)
