The Conduct Risk team is involved across Aegon on all regulatory change and conduct matters. This includes providing support and challenge on regulatory change projects, working across the Risk function on governance and controls and supporting the strategic direction of the business. The Conduct Risk Manager also brings our regulatory responsibilities to life for colleagues, role modelling our purpose and behaviours across Risk and the wider business.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
Detailed knowledge of the UK financial regulatory environment, particularly the conduct requirements of the FCA
Worked across the Risk function to develop the depth of knowledge and skillset in the second line by building effective relationships and contributing to shared priorities.
Acted as a subject matter expert on regulatory risk and conduct queries from across the business, focusing on good customer outcomes and helping develop colleague knowledge and awareness.
An understanding of risk methodology, for example: risk identification, assessment and mitigation methodology, regulatory risk appetite and risk tolerances.
It’d also be great, but not essential, if you’ve got:
Life and Pensions industry and product knowledge is highly desirable.
Can evidence an ability to provide constructive challenge and influence others.
Strong team player skills and can show commitment to achieving own and team goals, develop yourself and others, whilst supporting a wider team and department on key priorities.
An ability to deal with complex and multiple pieces of work through effective prioritisation, time management, organisation and, where required, escalation.
What’s in it for you?
A competitive salary from £44,000.00 - £66,900.00, depending on the experience you can bring.
A non-contributory pension between 8%-12%
A discretionary bonus, depending on personal and company performance
34 days leave per year (including bank holidays, pro-rated for part-time)
