As the Head of Product Management within our Finance team you will act as a senior manager ensuring that the financial products offered by Aegon UK across platforms are working as designed or specified. This is a key role that ensures finance can link the day to day operations of products into the wider finance department to ensure modelling, projections and financial reporting operate appropriately.
This role covers financial calculations on all Platforms offered by Aegon UK ensuring that Finance discharges its responsibility to the wider business in regards to checking the integrity and appropriateness of product calculations and their impact to key outputs such as illustrations & quotations.
This is a wide ranging position covering the whole Product lifecycle and focussing on policyholder Outcomes together with Aegon UK financials. The individual and team are involved from product development through to product closures and any incidents or issues that arise.
Both Regulatory & Propositional changes need to be reviewed and required changes identified and articulated then subsequently tested.
This role is accountable for the integrity and development of the calculation routines providing a lead to the Department, to Aegon (UK) and to our Partners.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
Detailed knowledge of Insurance and Investment Product Lifecycle including Product Charging structures, policy valuation, illustrations and other key Outputs
Detailed understanding of the Project Lifecycle and methods of delivery with major Programme experience highly desired
Experience of dealing with technical actuarial issues including policyholder remediation
Life insurance / financial services experience including understanding of relevant FCA Disclosure Regulations
An understanding of Regulatory reporting requirements and actuarial reserving
An appreciation of controls and audit regulations
