Lead Financial Analyst - Investment Reporting
Responsibilities:
Extract financial and attribute data from core accounting system to perform appropriate analyses.
Analyze data and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance.
Determines appropriate medium to present findings for use by others.
Liaison with asset data business users to understand requirements and recommend standardized solutions to meet reporting needs.
Define and oversee data quality standards to meet data requirements and expectations for asset data users.
Monitor asset pricing to validate completeness and accuracy.
Maintain working understanding of pricing procedures to resolve pricing anomalies and inconsistencies.
Recommends changes to processes to improve and achieve greater efficiencies by documenting business requirements and participating in testing efforts.
Offers leadership and direction to others by leading strategic initiatives on behalf of Investment Reporting.
Provide status reports to IR management using both formal and informal channels.
May manage staff to achieve performance standards. Develops and motivates staff to achieve effectiveness; mentors, trains and shares knowledge. Ensures staff demonstrates appropriate customer service attitudes.
Exhibits a thorough understanding of business and analysis concepts.
Supports client reporting with analysis and trend reporting.
Participate in monthly accounting processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Solves complex problems in creative ways; Significant initiative and independent judgment required; makes varied decisions; Operates with substantial latitude for un-reviewed action or decision; Typically plans, conducts and supervises assignments, reviews progress and evaluates results; Exhibits leadership skills; mentors employees across teams; May manage the workload of others.
Responsible for adherence to the company's framework of internal controls.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and/or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 8 years experience, with degree.
Advanced computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
1-3 years of supervisory experience.
Solid knowledge of accounting/financial area preferred (for example, investments, insurance products, premium).
Customer-oriented with demonstrated communication skills both orally and written with all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated excellence in financial analysis and problem solving in collaboration with vendors and stakeholders.
Experience working with remote employees supporting different functional areas.
Deadline driven with the ability to multi-task and work effectively individually and within a team.
Working Conditions:
Fast paced deadline-driven
Commuting Remote employees will need to report to a Company office location at times, but will perform their work primarily remotely.

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $88,000 - $105,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company discretion.
