Lead Financial Process Engineer
Optimize business performance by enhancing the alignment between business processes and IT, building and sustaining a process-managed organization.
Focus on the human, organizational and value stream aspects of business processes and their transformation.
Collect and analyze process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on improved analytics, increased productivity and reduced cost.
Identify business performance metrics to ensure that continuous, sustained improvement takes place across the department.
Help management establish process-related polices, standards, governance, and methodologies to enable the business to seamlessly adopt a process culture.
Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements.
Collaborate with IT, Finance, Actuarial, and other areas throughout the firm to ensure that processes are compatible with firm objectives and technology environment.
Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives.
Determine how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes.
Research best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data.
Evaluate the cost effectiveness of various major initiative, and adjust projects to adhere to budget requirements.
Reengineer legacy processes without disrupting business as usual.
Integrate continual improvements.
Solve complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics or related field
Seven years of experience in process engineering, accounting, financial technology and quality control (or five years with Graduate degree)
Extensive experience with accounting, investment and actuarial processes and systems
Experience with Six Sigma, LEAN or other quality control/process improvement
Specialized skills in one or more of the following: benchmarking, business process analysis and reengineering, change management and measurement, and/or process-driven systems requirements
Strong leadership, decision making and analytical skills
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations
Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
Experience with business process modeling, business architecture, and associated tools
Experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives
Hybrid employees will need to work at a Company office location at times and a remote work location (typically their home) at times. - OR - Commuting Remote employees will need to report to a Company office location at times, but will perform their work primarily remotely.

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $106,000 - $135,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company discretion.
