Director- National Accounts, DCIO/Institutional
Responsibilities
Establish, support, and grow business relationships at intermediary firms with a focus on their Research, Marketing, and Distribution teams.
Seek out and introduces centers of influence to connect and broaden relationships at the enterprise level.
Assume a level of ownership of assigned intermediary relationships to be viewed as the primary resource of the firm’s culture, investment processes, marketing initiatives, and future growth strategy.
Create and guide future business development strategies to increase opportunities for Distribution.
Serve as a subject matter expert on asset management products, capital markets, and investment strategy, with the ability to interact at the CIO level.
Partner closely with all levels of the Distribution team to effectively align resources, create opportunities, and remove obstacles to achieve the objective to grow sales and increase market share.
Execute on business plans and meet key activity and sales metrics as established by the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in a business related field or equivalent work experience
Ten years of financial services industry experience centered on relationship development and product placement, including five years working directly with research and advisory platforms
FINRA 6 and 63 (must obtain Series 7 within six months of hire date)
Outstanding communication, interpersonal. and relationship building skills
Excellent presentation, writing and analytical skills to engage with all areas of relationship.
Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment
Proficiency using MS Office tools
Preferred Qualifications
CFA, CIMA, CFP, CFA or other relevant designations
Knowledge of Transamerica mutual funds and ETF’s
Working Conditions
Work remote from home
Extensive travel (75%) which may include weekends, to visit home office and attend conferences/industry events.

Compensation
The salary for this position is generally $ 135,000-155,000K. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
Bonus Eligibility
This position is also typically eligible for Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion.
Commissions
This position may be eligible to earn commissions based on applicable sales incentive plan(s). All details pertaining to the calculation and payment of those commissions are available in the individual provisions of the sales incentive plan that applies.
