The Seven Families latest beneficiary is Graeme Snell, who is recovering from a bilateral stroke. Aegon UK has provided funding for Seven Families - a campaign that promotes the benefits of income protection cover - since 2014.

In the film below Graeme, the fifth family to receive assistance, explains how the Seven Families campaign has not only provided him with financial support, but also granted him the time to recuperate.

Launched in May of 2014, the Seven Families campaign was set up to raise awareness about the financial impact of long-term illness or disability. Every year, the campaign accomplishes this by providing an income for seven citizens with a long term illness or disability who are unable to work.

"We are delighted to be supporting this initiative to bring the value and importance of income protection to life by getting people to understand the benefits and peace of mind it could offer," says Dougy Grant, Protection Director at Aegon UK.
