Global Force for Good Week at Aegon
Aegon and Transamerica are organizing the company’s first ever global Force for Good Week to help people in our local communities to live their best lives.

It’s up to everyone at Aegon, Transamerica and beyond to translate them into meaningful, high-impact activities.
Helping local communities
That’s why Aegon and Transamerica are organizing the company’s first ever global Force for Good Week. A week that offers colleagues a chance to help the people in their local communities to live their best life. Between May 5 and May 12, colleagues are getting involved with a range of volunteering opportunities, from beach cleanups to spending a day with the elderly or putting a smile on the faces of children in need. The focus of all initiatives is to be a force for good.
Astrid Jäkel, Chief Risk Officer at Aegon and executive sponsor of the Force for Good Week, says: "This week is a fantastic opportunity for all of us to translate our purpose into action. For me, working together with colleagues on volunteering activities is a great experience for several reasons: giving back to my local communities, connecting with my colleagues outside of our usual working environment, stepping back from our busy life to interact with new people and learn from new perspectives."
