In May, Aegon and Transamerica united for the annual Force for Good initiative, demonstrating a powerful commitment to positively contributing to the global communities in which we operate. Over 1,700 colleagues participated in more than 100 activities, making a significant impact on diverse communities across continents.
Inspiring Acts of Kindness Across Continents
In the UK and the Netherlands, our colleagues focused on alleviating food insecurity and supporting vulnerable populations. They supported local breakfast clubs, packaged emergency food parcels, and raised funds through charity challenges. Additionally, they organized inclusive events for LGBT refugees, prepared gifts for children in need, and engaged in various community support activities.
In the US and Spain, our teams increased their volunteer efforts, participating in large-scale events and diverse community projects. They contributed to financial literacy fairs, assembled hygiene kits, and supported local food banks and educational programs. In Spain, more than half of the workforce participated, highlighting the collective spirit and dedication of our colleagues.
In Budapest and across Asia, our colleagues made a profound impact through essential support initiatives. They prepared housing for families in need, participated in renovation projects, and supported women in crisis. In Asia, efforts included distributing groceries and funds to support daily breakfasts and food rescue programs, ensuring that essential resources reached those in need.
