The Aegon Center for Longevity and Retirement conducts research, educates the public, and leads a global dialogue on trends, issues, and opportunities surrounding longevity, population aging, and retirement security.
The Aegon Center for Longevity and Retirement (The Center) is a collaboration of experts from Aegon's businesses in Europe, the Americas and Asia as well as third-party experts.
The Center has relationships with respected partners in the field of longevity and retirement, such as the Leyden Academy for Vitality and Aging, and the Global Coalition on Aging. It also seeks opportunities to work with other renowned academics in the field of aging, demographic change and retirement in order to strengthen its research and identify new uses for its data.
The Aegon Center for Longevity and Retirement based in the Netherlands, collaborates closely with the Instituto de Longevidade Mongeral Aegon in Brazil and the Transamerica Institute, which has been conducting research on retirement, health and aging in the United States for more than a decade. The Transamerica Institute is funded by contributions from Aegon's U.S. subsidiary, Transamerica Life Insurance Company and its affiliates, and may receive funds from unaffiliated third parties.
